🚨 TIME-CRITICAL EMERGENCY — Vascular occlusion from dermal filler can cause permanent tissue necrosis or blindness within minutes. Immediate action is required. Do not delay. Every minute matters.
This protocol establishes the standard response procedure for suspected or confirmed vascular occlusion following dermal filler injection. Vascular occlusion occurs when filler material blocks a blood vessel, interrupting oxygen supply to tissue. Without immediate intervention, this can result in skin necrosis, scarring, or — in cases involving the ophthalmic artery — permanent blindness.
